My name is Ony’Xemi. I’m a black transwoman, a dancer, and my spiritual journey matters a lot to me. Over and over, I find that dance is intimately connected to, and intertwined with, my spirituality. This is how the high&full website came to be.

I started dancing at around 12 years old with my stepmom’s dance ministry every summer. From there, dance slowly went from a fun thing to keep my occupied to an unshakeable passion. With the help of Aurora Hansen, Mindy Wein, Freddick Bratcher, and Eddie Morris, I’ve been able to find my voice; and while I may currently be out of practice, anything worth doing is worth doing poorly. This is where my return to my true passion begins.
